Maths and English papers leaked in ongoing WASSCE - WAEC
The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has said extracts of questions for Elective Mathematics 2 and Section A of English Language 2 were in circulation on social media platforms before the exams were taken. Elective Maths was written on Thursday, September 9, 2021, while the English paper was written on Monday, September 13.
These 11 schools have been put under strict surveillance over 2021 WASSCE leak
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has published a list of 11 schools that it is monitoring following tip-offs of 'intents to cheat' at the said schools. WAEC in a statement said it was also withdrawing some supervisors and invigilators from supervising the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) pending further sanctions.

Nigeria: University of Benin closed indefinitely after students protest high fees
The Management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced the closure of the school with immediate effect after students took the streets to protest an increase in tuition and other fees. The school management stated that students who fail to pay their school fees within the stipulated time will pay extra charges of N20,000 (almost GHS300).
