A security analyst, Mr Adib Saani says that government's conduct in the past in terms of communicating on various issues is what has warranted these sorts of doubts emanating from the public in the recent alleged takeover of the Jubilee House.
According to him, the statement announced by the government does not reflect the real facts on the grounds.
His comment is in reaction to the Deputy Information Minister's statement cautioning Ghanaians to desist from ridiculing the alleged takeover.
The security analyst said the opinion of the Ghanaian populace regarding the attempted coup shows a total rejection of the government narrative:
''The role of the Ministry of Information is not just to inform haphazardly but to strategically communicate and that is exactly what they lack with respect of the information they came put with regarding the attempted coup. The opinion of the Ghanaian population regarding the attempted coup shows a total rejection of the government narrative. It's particularly so because I have gone through the document and have come to the conclusion that there is no connection between the narrative and fact on the ground''.
''I think the statement is ingenious to the people of Ghana because it doesn't really represent what we know on the ground. What is happening is as a result of the general sentiment of the public feeling. Ghanaians feel whatever coming from the Information Ministry is propaganda and might not be the fact of the matter'',he added.
He indicated that there has been some inconsistency so far as communication to the public to issues pertaining to security is concerned.

The Deputy Minister of Information, Mr Pious Enam Hadzide, has called on the general public to stop ridiculing a recent announcement by the government about an alleged Jubilee House takeover.
This follows a government press statement issued by Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on Monday, 23 September 2019, said: “A joint security operation of personnel drawn from Defence Intelligence, CID and Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), conducted a successful operation which led to the arrest of three persons and the retrieval of several arms, explosive devices and ammunition from locations in Accraâ€.
