A 20-year-old man,  Abdul Aziz Babao, popularly called Shatta Wale, was on Saturday stabbed to death by his friend at Effiduasi in the Ashanti Region.

According to a report by mynewsgh.com, a disagreement ensued between Shata Wale and one Rasty.

In the process, Rasi pulled out a pair of scissors and stabbed Shatta Wale in the chest.

“I was in my room when I overheard them calling me. When I came out I saw the deceased in a pool of blood and I asked some residents to help me rush him to the hospital. Unfortunately for us he was pronounced dead on arrival”, mynewsgh.com quoted an assembly man in the area as saying.

The report said family members of Babao attacked Rasti and tried to lynch him, but his relatives moved quickly to prevent him from being killed.

Rasti has since been arrested by the police.
