The Association of Spare Parts dealers at Abossey Okai in Accra have requested 3 favours from government ahead of the 2018 Budget reading.

In an interview with PrimeNewsGhana, Chairman of the Association of Spare Parts Dealers Siaw Ampadu said he expects the government to outline procedures to stabilize the Ghanaian cedi in order to reduce import duties.

He as well wants a remedy to ensure interest rates come down in line with reductions in the prime rate of the Central Bank.

Mr Ampadu continued that the traders are counting on an assurance given by the President on a recent visit, that the  "2018 budget will make them laugh again"
