Koose is really simple to prepare and provides all the nutrients you need in a perfect combination with porridge.
Follow these simple steps to prepare Koose
2 cups of black eyed beans
2 large eggs
How to prepare Koose
-Soak the beans for about 5 hours or overnight and peel off the back
-Combine the beans, onion in the blender and blend until smooth.
-Pour out the pasty beans
-Crack the eggs into a separate bowl and add to the paste.
-Add salt to taste
-Heat up the oil for deep frying till very hot
-Use a ladle or spoon to scoop the paste into the hot oil
-Keep turning till golden brown
-Remove and allow excess oil to strain off.
-Repeat process till all pastes is used up.
Now serve your delicious Koose with a bowl of either Hausa Koko, corn porridge, etc.
