My Fashion Week ambassadorial role is for free - Nana Boro

Last week, news had it that, hip life artiste; Nana Boroo had earned a deal as a brand ambassador for the Accra Men’s Fashion Week.

The fashion week is the first of its kind in Accra, and its agenda is to draw more attention to men’s fashion and accessories, grooming and at the same time promoting national culture.

 

Nana Osei Bonsu aka Nana Boro has told Flex newspaper that he is doing this ambassadorial deal for free, stating that he liked the agenda and is willing to push it without any returns. He added that the fashion week is a big initiative and that he wanted to be a part of it.

“I am doing this for free. I don’t know about the others. But all I want to do is to support this agenda, to help the brand grow and to push my brother’s foresight, everything isn’t about money you know,” he said.

As the ambassador for this event, his role is to promote the brand and to create this fashion awareness to the youth and bring together designers all around to exhibit what they have and a lot more. Nana Boroo also stated that he will be on board as the ambassador till he wants it no more and the public should expect a wonderful event, which will be one of a kind since its inception in Ghana.

“People should watch out for it for we love fashion and I personally cannot wait for this event,” Nana Boro told Flex newspaper. The event is slated for the 27th and 28th February, 2016 and will feature designers from Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Togo and Benin.
