Buaben Asamoah appointed NPP Director of Communications

The NPP on September 19, 2018, announced the appointment of deputy national officers and directors, to help run the affairs of the party for the next four years.

The decision to appoint deputies became necessary after the election of new national officers in July 2018.

The Member of Parliament for the Adentan constituency in Accra, Yaw Buaben Asamoah has been appointed as the new Director of Communications after the substantive Director of Communications, Yaw Adomako Baafi resigned a few days ago.

Evans Nimako, who was holding the post of Director of Research and Elections in acting capacity has been appointed as the substantive post holder.

Nimako assisted Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah when he was Director of Research and Elections and took over in an acting capacity when Mr Korsah was appointed as a Deputy Minister of Regional Reorganisation in 2017.

Nana Obiri Boahen who served as Deputy General Secretary from 2014 to July 2018 has been re-appointed to the same post. He is now to work with Daniel Patrick Nii Laryea Squire, also as a Deputy General Secretary.
