Charlotte Osei, the former Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, has quickly come out to rubbish reports that she will contest for the vacant Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Her comments come after some campaign posters of her circulated online.
In an Instagram post, Charlotte Osei condemned the posters and describe them as fake.
She said, "I am not and have never been a registered member of any political party in Ghana or anywhere in the world."
Charlotte Osei added that she is not a resident in Ayawaso West Wuogon and so she does not even qualify to run as MP in the constituency.
"I have no interest whatsoever in running for Parliament and have never had that interest. Please, find better use of your artistic talent than mischief-making," Charlotte Osei advised.
