President John Mahama was left embarrassed as people aggressively chanted "change" when his tour of the Greater Accra Region took him to Darkuman Kokompe.
The people made the change sign with their hands as the president's convoy passed through the area.
A video capturing the incident has gone viral on social media, with many interpreting it to be a sign that the president would lose the December elections.
President Mahama, however, appeared unruffled, waving at the crowd from the sunroof of his car.
