Mahama names final batch of Deputy Ministerial appointees

President John Mahama has released the final batch of Deputy Ministerial nominees, completing the formation of his ministerial team under the new administration.

The latest list features four Members of Parliament who have been appointed to assist their respective sector ministers in executing the government’s development priorities.

The appointments span key sectors including health, foreign affairs, transport, and communications.

The nominees are:

Hon. Dorcas Toffey, MP for Jomoro – Deputy Minister for Transport

Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, MP for Assin North – Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs

Hon. Mohammed A. Sukparu, MP for Sissala West – Deputy Minister for Communications

Hon. Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, MP for Essikado-Ketan – Deputy Minister for Health

The list has been submitted to Parliament and the nominees are expected to face the Appointments Committee for vetting and approval in the coming days.
