The Minority Caucus in Parliament has announced plans to petition former President John Mahama on Thursday, July 24, regarding what they describe as “issues of great public concern.”

In a July 17 letter signed by Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, it failed to disclose specific details of the said petition.

“I write on behalf of Members of the Minority Caucus to respectfully notify you that we have arranged to present a formal petition to Your Excellency at the Jubilee House on Thursday, July 24,” the letter read.

It continued, “The petition details issues of great public concern which require your fair-minded leadership and definitive action to address the challenges they relate to.”

The petition will be presented in Accra, with members of the caucus and key party figures expected to be in attendance.
