The nationwide exercise, which is being held at 333 polling centres across the country, is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. and close at 2:00 p.m.
The results are expected to be announced later today after the close of polls and collation of votes.

Party officials and the Electoral Commission have indicated that all logistical arrangements have been completed to ensure a smooth, transparent, and credible process.
Delegates voting in the primaries are drawn from various categories within the party, including national, regional, constituency, and polling station executives, as well as other accredited party representatives.
To ensure a free and fair election, the uniformed security officers have been deployed to polling centres nationwide to maintain law and order, while the Electoral Commission and party-appointed officials are overseeing the process.
