The APC, the party founded by the 2012 presidential candidate of the People’s National Convention Hassan Ayariga, has opened nomination for interested presidential aspirants within the party and the nomination form is being sold at GHC100,000.

A statement signed by the general secretary of the party Kwadwo Poku Razak said interested individuals will have to deposit GHC5, 000 upon picking of the forms and then pay the rest when submitting their nominations.

The ALL PEOPLE'S CONGRESS (APC), subject to the provisions of the Party's Constitution wishes to announce for the information of the general public and especially card bearing members of the APC who are of good standing, the opening of nominations for the 2016 Presidential Candidate of the APC, starting from Monday 16th May 2016 to Friday 20th May 2016.
All interested and eligible Party members can pick the nomination forms from the Party General Secretary at the Party Headquarters at Haatso-Westland (West Legon) between 10am-1pm each day.
The cost of picking and filing of the Presidential nomination forms is GHS 5,000.00 and GHS95,000.00 respectively.
The deadline for filing the forms is Monday 23rd May 2016 at 6pm prompt.
Vetting process of prospective Candidates will be on Wednesday, 25th May, 2016 at the Party Headquarters.
All aspiring Candidates must qualify to contest for the position of President of the Republic of Ghana in accordance with Article 62 of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana in addition to Fulfilling all relevant provisions for the election of the Presidential Candidate as enshrined in Party's constitution.
