Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to remain united and consistent in their message and actions as the party seeks to regain the trust of the Ghanaian people ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Speaking to delegates at the NPP’s National Annual Delegates Conference on Saturday, July 19, held at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, the 2024 flagbearer encouraged party members to stay focused and dedicated to the shared objective of achieving victory.
"With unity and consistency, we can regain the trust of Ghanaians," he asserted.
Dr Bawumia noted that while the party had achieved significant milestones in government, lapses in internal cohesion and communication had affected public perception.
"We must recognize that when we lack unity or when our message is inconsistent, the public loses faith in us. We should not take their trust lightly," he warned.
The Vice President urged NPP members at every level to steer clear of internal conflicts and instead direct their efforts towards crafting a persuasive campaign that addresses the needs of everyday Ghanaians.
"Let us approach the people with humility, integrity, and a clear vision. That is the path to winning together," he concluded.
