The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Ministry of Health (MoH), Robert Cudjoe, insist he is still at post despite a statement announcing his re-assignment to the Information Services Department (ISD).

A statement from the Ministry of Health has named Elorm Ametepe as the new PRO for the Health Ministry.

Portions of the statement said “The Ministry of Health wishes to inform all media houses, its stakeholders and the public that Mr Elorm Ametepe has been posted from the Information Services Department (ISD) as the new public relations officer (PRO) of the Ministry of Health.

Mr Ametepe replaces Mr Robert Cudjoe, who has been re-assigned to the Information Services Department (ISD) at the Ministry of Information.

“You are, therefore, by this release kindly requested to direct all public relations related matters and enquiries through Mr Elorm Ametepe on telephone number 0559383045. The Ministry wishes to take this opportunity to thank all its stakeholders and partners for their continuous support.”

However, Robert Cudjoe who according to Ministry of Health statement has been transferred to the Information Services Department says he is still at post as the PRO for the Ministry of Health.

Speaking in an Interview on Citi FM, Robert Cudjoe is of the view that the current happening at the Ministry of Health is a plot by some people with the NPP government to get him out of service because they think his not a true member of NPP party.

"If some think I am not an NPP so, they can push me out, read the document that God inspired me to present to Nana Addo few months before the 2016 elections"

Robert Cudjoe added that "I am making the document available because of the thinking of some that I am not an NPP and that the statement I made that the UGMC would be opened this year 2018 was meant to undermine the government"
