The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win all the parliamentary seats in the Northern Region come December 7, the party's regional secretary Khalid Rauf has predicted.

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) surprised many when they won 11 out of the 31 parliamentary seats in the 2012 elections in the Northern Region  which has traditionally been considered as a waterloo for them.

But according the NDC Regional Secretary, the party had worked had enough to prevent any such occurrence in the upcoming elections.

Speaking on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen talkshow on Tuesday, he said,"Northern Region has traditionally been the stronghold of the NDC. We have worked enough and we'll dominate again. Wwe believe all the 31 seats will be ours in the upcoming elections in the Northern Region".

In 2012, "we lent the 11 seats to NPP in the Northern Region and we'll take all of them back because we have learnt our lessons", he added, reiterating that "all the 31 seats including Bimbilla, Kpandai and Yendi will fall to the NDC in the December polls".

On the presidential election, he predicted an overwhelming victory for President John Mahama who is from the region.

"We are hoping to have 90% of the total votes for President Mahama", he stated.
