The tournament will kick start on November 17 and would last till December 1.

The AWCON also doubles as the African qualifiers to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup where the top three teams will qualify for the tournament in France.

Ghana is hosting seven other African countries namely: Nigeria, South Africa, Mali, Equatorial Guinea, Algeria, Zambia and Cameroon for the 11th edition of the African Women Championship.
