AS Vita head coach Jean-Florent Ibenge has warned Aduana stars that they will not survive ahead of their return leg in Kinshasa in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Aduana stars cruised to a 2-1 victory over the Congolese giant, AS Vita club on 18, July 2018 at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa on Wednesday.

Coach Jean-Florent Ibenge congratulated Aduana stars for claiming 3points and concluded by warning the Dorma-based side that they will not survive in the return leg which would be played in Kinshasa.

"It was not a bad game against Aduana but the results won't help our course. Anyway, congratulations to Aduana," Ibenge said.

"We came into the game early and wanted to win but it was a little difficult. We're going back to work hard and win the return leg."

"We need the three points badly in Kinshasa and we must work towards it right from today. I don't think Aduana can survive there like they did at their home ground," he added.

Aduana stars showed no sign of rustiness following lack of local league participation due to the halting of the league by the government.

The win means Aduana are third with four points, same points as second place AS Vita with Moroccan side Raja Casablanca leading the table with five points after beating Asec Mimosas 1-0 in Abidjan.
