Aduana stars head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has stated he is very delighted with the results following his side's victory over AS Vita Club in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Aduana stars cruised to a 2-1 victory over AS Vita Club in Dorma in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The match which was played on July 18,2018 against AS Vita Club in Dorma was Aduana stars first competitive match in 43 days following the government's decision to halt the league with regards to Anas Aremeyaw Anas expose'.

The Japanese who was on the touchline for the first time as Aduana stars head coach lauded his side for the victory.

"Very excited with the win and happy with the players for their work ethic and attitude during the game," he said

"It was important to get the win to put us back into the competition, that was the plan and we will build on this going forward.

"We just have to do more and build on this going forward and I believe we will do well."

Aduana stars showed no sign of rustiness following lack of local league participation due to the halting of the league by the government.

The win means Aduana are third with four points, same points as second place AS Vita with Moroccan side Raja Casablanca leading the table with five points after beating Asec Mimosas 1-0 in Abidjan.
