Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea failed to make the cut for Confederation of African Football (CAF) list of officials for AFCON 2019 in Egypt.

The 32-year-old was not among CAF selected officials of 26 centre referees and 30 assistant referees for the 21 June to 19 July showpiece tournament.

Laryea in 2004 was the youngest referee to officiate a Ghana Premier League game at 24 years.

He officiated at the 2017 African Youth Championship in Gabon and the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations hosted by Ghana in September.
