Veteran football administrator, Alhaji Gruzah has urged the government to consult football administrators before making decisions and not to dissolve the Ghana Football Association.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas aired a documentary which uncovered corrupt practices in the game, as a result of it, the government took steps to dissolve the Ghana Football Association.

“Those calling for the dissolution of the GFA and football, how old are they? Where were they when I started football? he asked.

“Hon. Isaac Asiamah is giving the president wrong information. We need reforms in our football not dissolution”

“I don’t want to be part of any committee. I am only asking them to consult us before doing any reforms” He added.

Alhaji Gruzah also called on all Exco members to step aside following their inability to take action after Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigative piece.

“All the ExCo members must go. They are inefficient. Clearly, they can’t do the job, till date, I don’t understand why they weren’t able to appoint a new vice president after sacking George Afriyie” He told Happy FM Sports.

“Why didn’t the ExCo members take measures to deal with the issues after the exposé? If they indeed asked those in the video to step aside, why didn’t they announce it in the media?”
