Anas' family relocated following extreme threats- Kweku Baako

Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas' family have been relocated to another place in Accra following massive threat after the airing of the investigative piece titled Number 12.

According to Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, the threat was so dangerous to the extent that there was no option than to find a new location for the wife and children of the controversial undercover journalist.

“A lot of pressure is on Anas, his family, his wife and children are at a certain risk. Indeed not too long ago, there were all sorts of characters running around his house, we had to relocate the children to another place in Accra.” Abdul Malik Kweku Baako whose protege is Anas said on Peace FM Wednesday.

The expose' which was premiered earlier this month caught a lot of match officials and football administrators, including Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) allegedly involved in some dubious acts.

Kwesi Nyantakyi following the expose' has resigned as WAFU Zone B President, Ghana Football Association President, CAF Deputy Vice President and FIFA council Member.

He has also been banned by FIFA for bringing the name of the federation into disrepute.
