Ghana's Antoine Semenyo has won the PFA’s Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month for September, continuing his fine start to the season.
He beat off competition from Newcastle’s Nick Pope, Sunderland’s Omar Alderete, Liverpool’s Ryan Gravenberch, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, and Arsenal’s Martin Zubimendi to claim the fan-voted award.
The Ghanaian has played every minute of the Cherries’ league campaign so far and has scored six goals and provided three assists, having a hand in nine of the side’s 11 goals.
September saw the forward play a big part in an unbeaten month for Bournemouth, scoring one and picking up an assist in the 2-1 win over Brighton.
He then played every minute in the draws against Newcastle and Leeds, scoring an impressive free kick in the latter with a thumping finish under the wall from the edge of the defensive wall and into the bottom corner.
