Captain of the national team the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan is hopeful Ghana will win the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon.
Gyan said , ''I have the hope and believe we will win next year’s title, we just have to go out there and work hard.''
The 31-year-old added that, ‘‘I am ready for the tournament, physically and mentally. We all know what is at stake, the last time we came so close and this time we really want to end it,†according to a Ghanasoccernet report.
Gyan, who is playing in his sixth AFCON since 2008, is now enjoying some good time his new side Al Ahli after struggling with injury.
