Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant says he will gladly welcome another opportunity to take charge of the Black Stars for a second spell.

According to the Israeli trainer, he loved every moment of his time working with the four-time African Champions and he will not think twice of returning to manage the team if the opportunity presents itself.

Speaking in an interview, the former Chelsea manager also touched on the tenure of the former boss of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi stating that he did a yeoman's job steering the affairs of the country's football association.

''I really miss Ghana and I want to re-unite with Ghana again if I am given the opportunity. I have so many memories about Ghana and I must say that Kwesi Nyantakyi did extremely well as the President of the Ghana Football Association but it's quite unfortunate,'' he told Star FM.

''I love Ghana and ready to come back again.''

Avram Grant handled the west Africans between 2014 and 2017, leading the side to the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, where they lost to Cote d'Ivoire on penalties two months into his reign.

He also guided the team to the semi-final of the continental showpiece at the 2017 edition.  The Black Stars finished fourth in the competition after losing to Burkina Faso in the third-place match.

He managed the likes of Chelsea, Portsmouth and West Ham United prior to landing the Ghana job.
