Black Satellites have welcomed the arrival of their skipper Ishaku Konda from Austria.

The U-20 captain has arrived at their training base in Niamey to aid in preparations for Niger 2019 slated for February 2- 17.

The former WA All Stars captain travelled to Austria finalise a move, Lask Linz. 

Coach Jimmy Cobblah will hope the arrival of his captain strengthen the team as they bid to annex the trophy in Niger.

The Black Satellites team will be facing Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso in Group B.

They will be looking to win the trophy for the 4th time having previously won it in 1993, 1999 and 2009.

The top four teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland as CAF representatives.
