Hasaacas Ladies have booked a spot in the last four of the maiden edition of CAF Women's Champions League.

The Ghanaian club secured a place in the semi-finals after thumping Mali’s AS Mande in their second group game of the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League on Monday evening.

The Doo Ladies won their first group game brushing aside Malabo Kings and needed three more points to secure qualification to the next stage.

Evelyn Badu put Hasaacas ahead with a cool finish – a low drive into the bottom corner of Mande’s net in the early minutes before Perpetual Agyekum netted the second on the day and her second in the competition in the final stages of the first half.

Hasaacas navigated the rest of the first half without any challenges and oozed class on the pitch.

The second half resumed with the same characteristics as the first, with Yusif Basigi’s team taking the game to As Mande.

Evelyn Badu once again connected with Veronica Appiah’s pass from a close range to make it 3-0 for the Ghanaian club.

She made history, becoming the first player to score a brace in two successive games in the competition and now leads the goal king chart with 4 goals.

Hasaacas Ladies become the first team to qualify to the last four of the competition with one game to spare.

Up next for Hasaacas is Egypt’s Wedi Degla on Thursday.
