Black Starlets head coach Karim Zito had declared himself competent for the Asante Kotoko job.

The position has been vacant following Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin's resignation on Thursday 13, September 2018. Since his resignation, the Porcupine Warriors have been monitoring coaches available for the job.

However the former Dreams gaffer believes he is the right man to turn the fortunes of the club.

“I once worked with the junior team of Kotoko so I’m conversant with the club."

"I wouldn’t mind working with the junior side again but I would readily accept the challenge to coach the senior side if I am considered for that”, Coach Zito told Graphic Sports Online.
