Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey has suffered a horrific in Leicester City's 1-1 draw with West Ham in the English Premier League.

Amartey suffered a dreadful ankle injury and had to be carried out by the medical staff of his outfit.

The Leicester city player twisted his leg on the turf in the injury-time of the clash and had to recieve oxygen before being taken off the pitch.

Speaking after the game, Leicester manager Claude Puel said:

Puel said: ‘My first thought is for my player at the end, Amartey. I hope it is not serious, he played well and gave everything. It’s difficult to see this at the end".

'My thoughts are more about his injury than about the game. He needs to have it examined and then we will see after. I hope it is not serious.’ The head coach added.

Daniel Amartey was part of the foxes title winning team under Claudio Ranieri in the 2015-16 season.
