Dreams FC 's Leonard Owusu signs for Israeli side Ashdod

Dreams FC captain , Leonard Owusu has officially signed a  four-year contract with Israeli side Ashdod which keeps him at the club till 2022.

The club announced the capture of the highly-rated midfielder in Ghana ahead of the new season today June 25, 2018.

Leonard Owusu has been the talisman of the Dreams FC side, putting out superlative performances for the Premier League side.

Coach Belugia  Milavsky and his assistant Robert Stoyanovsky are beefing up their squad for the upcoming season and midfielder Leonard Owusu is the club's first signing ahead of the new campaign.

Leonard Owusu ,21, who has been sensational in the Ghana Premier League, winning over 5 man of the match award says he is excited to join the club.

"I am pleased and excited to come to Israel and Ashdod,Leonard  Owusu told the club's official website.

"I've heard a lot of good things about the club and from the very first moment I felt the warm attitude of the people here ... I'm waiting to meet my new friends and start my training in the hope of a good and successful season."

The captain, 21, has scored three goals and provided four assists for the Theatre of Dreams side at the end of the first half of the current Ghana Premier League campaign helping his side to a top 5 finish of the suspended Ghana Premier League.
