Egypt invite 15 foreign-based players for World Cup Clash with Uganda

Egypt's head Coach Hecter Cuper has invited 15 foreign based players for their upcoming World Cup Clash with Uganda on August 31.

The Pharaohs are top of Group E with six points with the Cranes of Uganda second with 4 points, Ghana are third with a point and Congo are bottom.

They travel to Uganda first in macth day 3 of the World Cup qualifiers and will play at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.
The two nations will meet again on 5 September at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab stadium.

Egypt last made it to the World Cup in 1990 and hope to end their 28-year wait with an appearance in Russia next year.

Defenders: Ahmed Elmohamady (Aston Villa, England), Mohamed Abdel-Shafi (Ahly Jeddah, KSA), Ahmed Hegazy (West Bromwich, England), Omar Gaber (Basel, Switzerland), Karim Hafiz (Lens, France)

Midfielders: Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal, England), Mahmoud "Trezeguet" Hassan (Kasimpasa, Turkey), Sam Morsi (Wigan, England), Ramadan Sobhi (Stoke City, England)

Forwards:  Mohamed Salah (Liverpool, England), Ahmed Koka (Sporting Braga, Portugal), Mostafa Fathi (Taawoun, Saudi), Amr Warda (CD Feirense, Portugal)
