Godfred Saka was close to sealing a move to Nigerian Premier League outfit Enyimba FC but the move fell through.

Management member of Karela, Eric Alajidede in an interview with Citi-Sports says talks with both players are in the final stages.

“We’ve had discussions with both players, and we intend to sign them to boost our league chances next season. We are not only looking at coming to the league and being relegated the following season,” he said.

“We want to stay in the league for as long as possible and that is why we are going for these experienced hands.

"They are both free agents and we are deep into discussions with the two.”
