GFA Elections: Executive Council elections comes off today

11 out of 12 positions on the new Executive Council for the Ghana FA will be decided on Thursday at an election to be held in Accra.

Per the new statutes for the Ghana FA, the Council will help in running the day-to-day activities of the association and take major decisions in relation to Ghana football.

The 11 slots to be voted for will be made up of 5 representatives from the Premier League, 3 from the Division One League, 2 from the Regional Football Associations and 1 from the Women’s League.

The 12th position will be filled by the President of the GFA whose identity will be known when the Presidential elections are held on Friday at the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
