The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has extended its deepest condolences to Aduana FC and the families of two supporters who died in a road accident after Sunday’s Ghana Premier League match.

The fans were returning from Kumasi, where they had travelled to cheer their team in a 1–1 draw against Asante Kotoko, when the tragic incident occurred. Their commitment and loyalty to the club have been widely acknowledged across the football community.

In a statement, the GFA expressed sympathy to the bereaved families, the injured supporters, the players and the entire Aduana FC fraternity, describing the period as “a profoundly difficult moment” for the club.

Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong has since visited the injured fans at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, with the Association assuring that it remains in close contact with Aduana FC and will continue to offer all necessary support.

“We pray for healing, comfort and strength for the grieving families, and a swift recovery for the injured. May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace,” the GFA said.
