Ghana drop to 53rd in latest FIFA ranking

Ghana have dropped on the FIFA Coca Cola ranking for the month of September.

The West African nation are currently ranked 53rd position on the FIFA ranking which means they have slipped by a place.

However, Ghana maintained its seventh position on the rating of countries on the African continent.

 

Senegal are still the highest-ranked African country on the FIFA ranking. They are followed by Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria and Egypt in that order.

The Black Stars are ahead of Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon and Mali.

Globally, while Belgium (1st) and Brazil (2nd) continue to lead the way, there is a new face on the podium. Following mixed results in Qatar 2022 qualifying this month  France drop out of the Top 3, allowing England to take their place
