Accra Hearts of Oak have loss their 3rd game in the Ghana Premier League after a 2-1 loss to Elmina Sharks on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

The Phobians after recording a win against Wa All Stars in midweek could not keep up the momentum as they dropped another three points.

Sharks deservingly took the lead in the 25th minute after Felix Addo outjumped goalkeeper Ben Mensah to head home the opener.

They continued their dominance and captain Obeng Crentsil thumped home a powerful shot from the edge of the box to make it 2-0 to Sharks in the 41st minute.

Sharks went into the halftime break with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

Hearts were given a lifeline in the second half after midfielder Malik Akowuah reduced the deficit in the 60th minute with a 25-yard strike.

At 2-1, Hearts went in search of the equalizer but Sharks held on tightly to record their first win over Accra Hearts of Oak.

Hearts have now lost to Ashgold, Berekum Chelsea and Elmina Sharks.
