Lower tier side Glow-Lamp Soccer Academy beat premiership outfit Hearts of Oak in a friendly at Abreshia today.

A 2-1 scoreline was enough for Glow-Lamp Soccer Academy as they defeated the Rainbow giant in a warm-up friendly.

Abubakar Traore opened the deadlock for the Phobians in the cagey encounter with Emmanuel Mintah providing the assist but Solomon Kojo Antwi snatched parity for the home side.

Coach Kim Grant made three quick changes as he replaced James Serwonu, Emmanuel Mintah and Bernard Arthur with Mitchelle Sarpong, Charles McCarthy and Dominic Eshun.

The first forty-five minutes ended 1-1 with both clubs showcasing brilliant display. The recess began with Glow-Lamp Soccer Academy creating glaring chances which lead to Rashad Baba Sulley registering the second goal for the home side.
