Hearts of Oak have parted company with midfielder Seth Osei, bringing an end to his brief eight-month stint at the club.

The 27-year-old joined the Phobians in January 2025 on a two-year deal following his return from South African Premier League side TS Galaxy, but struggled to make a meaningful impact despite the club’s initial investment in securing his services.

Head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who replaced Aboubakar Ouattara ahead of the current campaign, opted to exclude Osei from his long-term planning as the club pursues a more aggressive approach to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season. The midfielder has yet to feature in the ongoing campaign despite the club’s positive start.

The club confirmed that both parties agreed to a mutual termination of his contract, paving the way for the player to explore new opportunities elsewhere.

Osei becomes the latest departure as Hearts of Oak continue to focus in their pursuit of success in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
