Former Black Stars Captain Stephen Appiah has been rumored as being considered for a role in the backroom staff of new Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah, the 36yr old who retired from the national team after the 2010 World Cup in South Africa says he is ever ready to work for the Black Stars if he is appointed.

“I haven’t received any letter from anyone, I am a business man, I have players that I am managing and players that I am training and other things that I am handling but if it comes to working with the Black Stars I am ready to give my all”.

The former Juventus midfielder has been touted to be the next team manager of the senior national team and his former team mate Richard Kingston has also been rumoured to be the next goalkeeper’s trainer for the Black Stars.
