AshantiGold midfielder James Akaminko has hinted he is ready to wear the colours of Asante Kotoko should negotiation go through between the two clubs.
The Porcupine Warriors are scouting for players to augment their squad for the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking on Oyerepa FM, the former Tema-Youth star says he will grab the opportunity to play for the Kumasi giants will both hands should management give him the green light.
"If management of AshantiGold agrees to allow me to join Kotoko, I will grab the opportunity", he said.
"It doesn't lie in my mouth to decide whether to leave or not but won't hesitate to play for Kotoko if given the green light".
"I believe I can contribute my quota for Kotoko to qualify to the next stage in their Africa campaign"
"They have the final say, if the two clubs are able to agree on a deal, I will gladly join Kotoko".
Asante Kotoko have been drawn in Group C against Sudanese Al Hilal, Zambia duo Nkana FC and Zesco United. The Reds kickstarts with an away match against Al Hilal on February 3.
