The Member of Parliament for the Atwima Mponua constituency in Ashanti, Mr Isaac Kwame Asiamah will be the next Minister of Youth and Sports according to Spokesperson of President-elect, Mustapha Hamid.
Mr Hamid who led a delegation that met the Black stars on Sunday in Accra said Mr. Asiamah will take over the position after being vetted.
Mr Asiamah is currently a member of the Parliamentary select Committee for Youth and Sports and hails from Tano Odumasi in the Ashanti Region.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon and has also served on the Parliamentary Committees for Mines and Energy as well as the Public Accounts Committee in the past.
Mr. Asiamah also worked at the National Youth Secretariat.
