Joseph Attamah-Larweh has revealed the main motivation behind leaving İstanbul Başakşehir F.K for fellow Turkish Super Lig side Rizespor.

The Ghanaian left the İstanbul based club to Rizespor Çaykur on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window.

Opening up for the first time on the move, the former Tema Youth player said, he wanted to get enough minutes under his belt hence the decision to join Rizespor.

“You have to find the right club for you.

“If I had stayed there this season, I wouldn't have had much chance to place. I wanted to go to a team where I could play more football, so I came to Rizespor Çaykur.

He added that he has no resentment leaving BaÅŸakÅŸehir for Rizespor

“I don't have any resentment”,

Reizspor have failed to attain the maximum points in their last two games and Attamah averred that the players are looking forward to bouncing back to winning ways in order to put the club to where it belongs.

“We want to move this team to the place it deserves at the end of the league”.

“We only got one point from these two games, but that doesn’t mean we lost everything. There are more games ahead: As players, we will try to do more than we have. We want to move this team to the place it deserves at the end of the league,” he ended.

Attamah has played in five games for Rizespor this season as they currently lie sixth on the table
