Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has expressed his happiness over earning a call-up to the Black Stars squad for the Sierra Leone clash.

Felix Annan, who has been superb for Kotoko this season especially in the halted league, has been called upon by Kwesi Appiah for the double header qualifier against Sierra Leone this month. 

According to the shot-stopper, the call-up delights him and wants to grab this opportunity to prove his worth.

”I feel extremely happy to be back in the Black Stars team after getting my first call up last year,” he told SportsworldGhana.com.

”It’s a great honour to be invited for an AFCON qualifier and I promise to do my possible best and also show the whole world what Felix Annan can do when I am handed a starting role,”he added.

”It has always been my dream to get a call-up so that now that it has come I gladly welcome it and will surely prove my worth.”

Black Stars will come up against Sierra Leone on 11th, October 2018 in Kumasi for the first leg of the African Nations Qualifier.
