The Black Stars of Ghana are still outside the top 50 teams ranked in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday.
Ghana have moved one place from 52nd to 51st. The Black Stars last game ended 1-1 against the Pharaohs of Egypt at the Cape Coast Stadium and that has ensured their movement in the rankings.

The last round of qualifying matches for the 2018 World Cup has had a greater effect on the rankings as Senegal have climbed up 23 as Africa's highest ranked side.
