Ghanaian forward Majeed Waris has netted his first goal for his club, Nantes as they defeated Montpellier in the French League Cup.
Waris banged in his first goal for the club after 12 appearances to help Nantes thumped Montpellier 0-3 on Tuesday night at the La Mosson Stadium.Kalifa Coulibaly headed home into the far right corner to give the visitors the lead in the 58th minute. Majeed Waris doubled their lead 10 munites away from time with a rocket shot into the roof of the net.

Emiliano Sala scored a penalty in injury time to put the icing on the cake for the visitors.
