Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, made an immediate impact on his full debut for Tottenham Hotspur, registering two assists in their comfortable 3-0 win over newly-promoted Burnley on Saturday, August 16.

The 24-year-old, who joined Spurs this summer from West Ham United, wasted no time in announcing himself to the North London fans. His pinpoint cross in the 10th minute found Brazilian forward Richarlison, who headed home to give Tottenham a deserved first-half lead.

Kudus turned provider again after the break, this time setting up Richarlison for a stunning acrobatic finish that doubled the advantage.

Brennan Johnson later added a third in the 66th minute to seal all three points for Thomas Frank’s side.

Kudus, who was substituted in the 85th minute for French youngster Mathys Tel, will now be looking to maintain his place in the starting lineup as Spurs prepare for a tough trip to the Etihad Stadium to face champions Manchester City next weekend.
