Bankroller of Division One side, New Edubiase FC Abdul Salam Yakubu has slammed club administrators who termed themselves 'football people' stating that bitterness and jealousy from them are causing the delay of the Normalization Committee's Special Competition.

According to the football arbiter, those administrators raunting on the shoulders of the four-member committee led by Dr.Kofi Amoah are followers of former Ghana FA President Kwasi Nyantakyi who are not ready to access the committee fairly to allow football to take place under the auspices of the Normalization Committee.

Since the Normalization Committee of Ghana assumed into office there has being emersed pressure on them especially on their activities to normalize the game following Anas Aremeyaw Anas video dubbed 'number 12'.

Abdul Salam, speaking on Happy FM sports this morning stated that the football people want to just show off their power to undermine the NC and commended the government's position that the MOYS is working closely with the GFA Normalization Committee to draw up a road map for the competition and not to take over the work of the Normalization Committee.
"This interim committee will make sure that the special competition will be successful, so it’s the right call but it doesn’t mean I will participate in the competition".

"Most of the football people are not truthful because many of them actually want the league to continue but because of bitterness and jealousy, they don’t want us to continue".

"They just don’t want to continue with the league because it’s associated with Kwesi Nyantakyi".
