Paul Dogboe, father and trainer of Isaac Dogboe, has fired a warning shot to Emanuel Navarette that, his son will reclaim the lost WBO title in their rematch, slated for May 11, in Arizona.

Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe (20-1, 14 KO) last year lost his WBO World Super Bantamweight title to Mexican Emanuel Navarette (26-1, 22 KO) in the United States.

In his second title defence, Isaac Dogboe failed to produce the devastating skill and mastery that saw him beat the likes of Magdaleno and Juarez earlier that year.

However, Paul Dogboe believes his son is in a better condition to finish off Navarrete in the rematch. He further said, there have been changes to the technical team.

"We are training in Keta, Isaac Dogboe is in good condition and come May 11, a fit Isaac will be too hot for Navarette to handle," he told Happy FM.

"Before what I used to do is use to be the only technical person, I have been spoken to by Top Rank to change. They have beefed up the technical team now."

"I am training Isaac Dogboe but come May 11 the corner will change, Professional will come on board to help out."

The camp of Dogboe will leave the shores of Ghana in the last week in April for the rematch with Emanuel Navarette.
