It was a quiet weekend for Ghanaian players in terms of conversion rate as few registered their names on the score sheet.
However, performance-wise, there were plenty of positives from most of the players across the major leagues as well as the lesser known leagues.
The weekend went awfully as Daniel Amartey suffered a horrific ankle injury in the dying embers of Leicester City’s draw with West Ham United at the King Power Stadium.
Frank Acheampong also scored his sixteenth goal of the season in the Chinese Super League but it could have been more had he buried the chances that came his way in the game. He also missed a penalty in the game.
