Photos: Black Stars open camp in Accra ahead of Chad and Mali World Cup 2026 qualifiers

The Black Stars trained at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday ahead of the two crucial FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Chad and Mali.

The Monday training session included players such as Antoine Semenyo, Elisha Owusu, Ibrahim Osman, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Jerry Afriyie, Joseph Anang, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Benjamin Asare, Jonas Adjetey, Ibrahim Sulemana, Jordan Ayew, and Gideon Mensah.

Twelve more players are expected to arrive before Tuesday’s second training session in Accra, after which the squad will travel to Chad for Thursday’s qualifier.

Ghana will face Chad on Thursday, September 4, before hosting Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, 2025. Ghana currently leads Group I with 15 points from six matches, keeping the team well-placed for a fifth FIFA World Cup appearance.
